The Vintage Round Top Events Flyer

Flyer Mockup

With this events flyer, I experimented a lot with negative space which is not my favorite thing to do. The Vintage Round Top brand is very clean, minimal and sophisticated. I tried to keep the flyer feeling fresh and clean, while still communicating the necessary information needed to convince a possible guest to learn more about hosting an event at the property.

In addition to the final flyer - I also saved some variations throughout the process. This is something I've never done before, but I'm glad I did. While the front of the flyer was pretty stagnant, I didn't have as clear of a vision for the back. It's interesting to see the changes throughout my design process!

As you can see, the front of the flyer stayed consistent. I struggled a bit with which image to choose since the second choice demonstrated how the homes could be used for team retreats, something the brand struggles with conveying. However, the photo I ended up choosing is open to interpretation and allows the viewer can fill in the details for themselves. I also decided to simplify the text so that a possible customer can take a glance quickly and still absorb the information.

For the back of the flyer, I had a tough time defining my vision and making it flow with the front. After trying to play with negative space, I opted to make it feel more structured. However, then it felt too crowded. The drafts didn't connect with the front of the flyer and I wasn't happy with the design at all. Once I used the same "at a glance" structure for the details of the home as the first page, the second page began to feel more connected and the rest of the design flowed from there!
