The Vintage Round Top Website Design
I have always had a passion for web design and the intricacies of how user-experience meets design that is aesthetically pleasing. I had the pleasure of redesigning The Vintage Round Top’s website to reflect their “Modern Vintage” style while also ensuring future guests or interested press/partners could easily find what they were looking for.
I started this project by developing a framework that I then ran through every avenue of the user-experience; from guest, to press, to customers of the online shop, to even partners looking for an event space. With so many types of users, I wanted to ensure each would have a streamlined experience and could easily navigate to their topics of interest.
I created multiple navigation touch points, from the top navbar, to a grid-style visual navigation on the home page and then again in the footer. Additionally I created cross-navigation touch points in each of the pages providing various entries to relevant and helpful content.
The end result was a website made with The Vintage Round Top customer in mind, something that is beautiful to look at, abundant in information on the properties and usage for the space, as well as representative of Paige and Smoot’s iconic style.
